Fertilizer Shortage Plagues Ag Industry
The Wall Street Journal reported last week that "high fertilizer prices are weighing on farmers across the developing world". Inflation has already put a dent into American's wallet and food prices could continue to rise given the shortages.
Darwin Mine expects to begin producing needed Zinc for fertilizer as early as March which could help alleviate some of the shortages although prices are expected to remain high. Darwin's ability to get the mine up and running in a short period of time make this one of the most unique Opportunity Zone investments.
